Hello! Or should I say здравствуйте?!?!
This is my first post of many to keep everyone updated on my study abroad trip to the country of Moldova this spring break. I am looking forward to the many challenges, rewards, and perhaps even a few surprises throughout my journey.
Before applying to this program I was not very informed about the political climate of Moldova as a country, and the relationship that the U.S. and neighboring countries have with it. After this semester I know I will be walking away with a unique and personal perspective on the culture, politics, and an appreciation for its place in the world. The experiences that I will be a part of will be forever etched into my memory, and will provide a lifetime of stories to share with my loved ones and colleagues alike.
My ticket is purchased, my bags are packed, and I am ready to go!
